“Getting together like a family”

In addition to cars, the word “family” plays a particularly important role in the Fast and Furious series. Vin Diesel or his character Dominic Toretto use the word in a very inflationary way in films and in the most touching scenes. It doesn’t matter if his car rocks on a helicopter or his vehicle is launched into space: what matters is the solidarity of the family…

The family meme has therefore been used online to make fun of for years. The cutscene at the end of Amirdrassil is very reminiscent of a speech that could have come from Vin Diesel instead of Kalecgos and Alexstrasza. “Cringe,” as many in the WoW community think. The Echo Twitch stream recognized this immediately, as you can see above.

For some, Amirdrassil’s ending even surpasses N’Zoth’s tedious demise in Ny’alotha. And that’s saying a lot.

Avengers, assemble!

The gathering of important people also played an important role during the Emerald Dream campaign (from 3:40 in the video above). Just before fending off Fyrakk, characters such as Thrall, Velen, Mekkatorque, and Jaina, along with dragon aspects and other lore figures, suddenly gathered to face Fyrakk. The scene looks a lot like something out of a Disney movie.

The WoW Avengers have arrived, also accompanied by music. The question arises as to where Velen, Jaina, Thrall and co were before then. Their presence seems strange, they almost seem like foreign bodies. However, the video sequence is complemented by the fact that Azeroth’s most powerful mages and warriors appear not to have drunk the target water and largely miss Fyrakk with their attacks.

Fyrakk’s character development in WoW patch 10.2 is also too superficial for some players. As much as we like simpler plots after the jailer story, Fyrakk isn’t important at the end of Dragonflight.

Alexstrasza tells him that he once fought for a noble cause and now seeks only power. Fyrakk’s answer is: true. And this is all.
